Review: New still growing jobs site for the Arab region, with current 121 jobs in Kuwait, most highest country in the site. Judging on that number, and the type of ads, one could guess it’s a Kuwaiti initiated site. The good thing about this job site is that job seekers and employers alike seem to be able to register and post for FREE, and you don’t need to be registered to see the available job listings and details as some others tend to do. To apply for a job however, yes this needs a registration. Still though, if you’ve got all the job details, including the company name, then you only need to register if you want to apply online. Otherwise just drive your car there and submit your papers.

Careerjet.ae logo

Careerjet.ae is the UAE version of the worldwide job search engine Careerjet.com. In their words “Careerjet is an employment search engine for the United Arab Emirates. It allows you to search a growing selection of jobs listed on company sites as well as jobsites in one go saving you the trouble of having to go to each site individually.”. So if this is a UAE Job Search why am I listing it here?

It’s because they also include jobs from around the middle-east, and a section for Kuwait job listing as well. Their search service is pretty fast you don’t want to stop. And they seem to be an ad powered site, so your individual use of the service is FREE.

Since they fetch the job listing automatically from companies and job listing sites, there is a chance of error ofcourse. I have seen some job listings in Kuwait section that do not belong to Kuwait. But still, the percentage is not that high and you can use it to seek your job easily. Site owners told me also they are bringing a Kuwaiti dedicated domain as well, after which things should be better for Kuwait job search, since it’s more focused.

Q8CV – A Good Start

Q8CV
With so many other options, Q8CV have impressed me with the way they are moving forward. Q8CV does not seem to be just another job seeking site in Kuwait. It seems to be one that has come to stay and dominate. Why I say this can be explained by the Alexa stats.

Few months back, no one knew about the site, and now it’s ranked 67,071 on Alexa. Not bad at all. I started seeing it’s ads on Google not long back. Then soon after, I can see they are doing a brilliant job distributing their ads on YouTube, DailyMotion, and other sites with both text and image ads, utilizing both Google AdSense and Dart Media (which I still have to try). Quite the type of ads that works well. Some companies spend thousands on newspaper ads which most people just simply ignore and the next day, the ad belongs in the trash. Online ads are cheaper, much more targeted, and it’s success is measurable.

Visiting the site now, I can see many new postings coming. Ofcourse the site still much behind Bayt.com, but Bayt is not for Kuwait only. Q8CV is. Q8CV now as far as I can see is the leading job posting site in Kuwait. The site is nick to nick with GulfTalent, and what a time it is to come into the game. Fresh grads are eagerly looking for new job, and I just resigned and am looking for one my self :) . Another good thing is that there is no need to be signed-in to see the job postings as well, unlike some other job sites.
