Baroue Online – Coming Soon
The famous Kids Kingdom shop Baroue have already started showing online Google Ads for their upcoming site.
I still haven’t been there I am waiting for good quiet time to visit this shop everybody seems to be talking about. I have a question though. At first, I thought this Baroue is worldwide brand that is coming to Kuwait. Then I came to know Baroue has a meaning as Kuwaiti word, and the site is now Coming Soon. Searching for the shop worldwide I was not able to spot it. The reason I assumed it’s global brand is their nice theme, the strong idea to have the largest kids shop in the largest mall in Kuwait, and the way they presented their brand all over Kuwait and now almost no one doesn’t know it. I’ll have to say, if this is all coming from a Kuwaiti mind, it’s really really great.
Other nice things to see along the way are:
1- Companies are realizing the importance of having online presentation of their physical store. I would love also to see some online shopping there from such a big brand. It could do great in holiday season. Send Gift to someone’s child online!
2- More and more people are realizing the power and importance of online ads rather than just relying on expensive non-targeted TV, newspaper and street ads. In the end, this is good for many other Kuwaiti existing and upcoming sites. Means you can give the service for FREE and rely on the targeted Kuwaiti ads served by Google, just as the case with this site and Q8igg.

I was going to write a post about Baroue .. can’t find the time to put it together tho.
The concept was created by a Kuwaiti Company (by Kuwaities) – MS (Mutawa/Sayer) Retail. It isn’t one store or brands .. this is a full out franchise created from the ground up. The store also carries other brands of toys/stuff .. so its not just limited to Baroue. Their design studio is based in London and the factories are in India with the head office is in Kuwait. This is their first store/franchise and they are going to be expanding to the GCC and eventually worldwide.
I really have to hand it to the people behind the company for creating something original. Here is to hoping that more Kuwaiti entrepreneurs will follow in their footsteps.

Thanks K.TheKuwaiti. I was really waiting to get some details. Your blog is not frequently updated, but when it does, it’s usually so worth reading.
Even if as you said, they design in UK and manufacture in India, it’s still very great to be motivated by Kuwaiti people, and have a global worldwide vision. And to be honest, I’d be surprised if they don’t succeed with the outcome I’ve seen so far.

hi the kuwaiti, all the facts put by you r very interesting and i do appreciate the fact that it is created by a kuwaiti company the only flaw is however prices r un necessarily hiked because the materials and designs r not worth the prices.as i myself associated with the fabric industry can very well tell that somebody is making fool of someone.materials used for the dresses r extremly cheap and the price tag for the material and design made me laugh.

reem: Thanks. Totally agree with the prices. I usually try to avoid anything Baroue. I never bought clothes maybe from there, but a DVD for Jungle book at price of 7 KD! I can get new movies on Bluray for less than that on Amazon!
Same goes with all other toys. Also, the branch at Avenues have turned into a clothes store… most toys are taken away. The new branch at Discovery is full of toys though.
